Why Start Now?
We say we’ll go to church next Sunday. We’ll start that new diet next week. We’ll get into fitness when the new year starts. All that really means is, I’ll start living the life I want LATER. That the life I want can wait because the life I live now is comfortable and familiar.
What if you changed that mentality. If today you took steps towards the life you’ve always wanted to live, what would it look like? Now put that into action.
If someone told me two years ago that this would be my life, I wouldn’t believe them. Two years ago I was recovering from a serious car accident and about to reach my rock bottom of Anorexia. Now, I am happier than I ever thought possible but that change didn’t come without taking action. I cried before every day before my therapy sessions but I never stopped going. I cried because I knew my therapists would make me do things that I wasn’t comfortable with but I was determined to get better.
You’re going to have to be uncomfortable to grow, but you’ll look back and be so grateful and proud of how far you’ve come. So I want you to picture this, if you could see yourself in 3 months, 6 months, a year, what would you look like? How would you feel? Would you be proud of how far you’ve come or discouraged that you didn’t start earlier?
